AMG EXPERT REVIEW: Tribal
Groove offers rich, synth-textured dreamscapes bolstered by
tribal drums, native instrumentation and percussion. The mix sounds
great, the production clean and punchy, and each track is a unique
worldbeat concoction with dashes of New Age and Euro-groove pulsation
thrown in for good measure. All continents with indiginous cultures
are duly represented: Native America, Asia, Africa, the Middle
East, Australia, Tibet, Mongolia. Track lengths are kept on the
short-side, which helps to keep the momentum moving forward with
drive. A mesmerizing, genre-bending feast for multicultural gourmands.
